Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and company standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and work areas.
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately.
- Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and upselling when appropriate.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
- Perform bussing duties to keep the dining area clean and inviting.
- Follow food safety guidelines and maintain proper hygiene practices at all times.
Skills
- Experience with cash handling and operating a cash register is preferred.
- Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash transactions and order calculations.
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
