Position: Self Storage Facility Manager

Overview
We are looking for a dependable and driven Facility Manager to oversee the daily operations of our self storage facility. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on, self-managed role, enjoys working with people, and takes pride in maintaining an organized and efficient workplace. You will be responsible for both front-office operations and facility upkeep, ensuring a secure and customer-friendly environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of day-to-day operations in accordance with company policies
- Provide excellent customer service for rentals, inquiries, payments, and account assistance
- Conduct routine walk-throughs to ensure the facility remains safe, clean, and well-presented
- Track and replenish office and maintenance supply inventories
- Assist in market research and rate adjustment strategies by monitoring local competition
- Recommend and match customers with appropriate storage solutions
- Handle lease agreements, process payments, and maintain organized documentation
- Enforce facility rules, lease terms, and safety procedures
- Monitor delinquent accounts and manage the collections process professionally
Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in self storage, property management, or related field preferred
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Basic math proficiency for payment and account processing
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative
- Experience with SiteLink or similar storage software is a plus
- Prior experience in collections or accounts receivable is beneficial
Schedule
- Full-time, 8-hour shifts
- Availability required on both weekdays and weekends
- Morning and daytime shifts preferred
