Liquidity Management Services (LMS) caters to a diverse range of clients and operating environments. We are undergoing a significant transformation to provide best-in-class investment products while continuing to support essential operational deposit solutions.
This role drives product development, strategy, commercialization, and execution for both on- and off-balance sheet solutions across North America and Latin America, focusing on 3rd Party Funds product strategy and integration with Account Services processes. Collaborating closely with market managers, sales, global product managers, and other internal/external partners, this role aims to enhance and deploy product capabilities, digitize our offerings, and drive volume and revenue growth. A key focus will be managing crucial product offerings for payment intermediaries, including Brokered Deposits, Funds on Behalf Of (FBO), and Time Deposit Portfolio Support.
Responsibilities:
Partner with Technology teams to launch new features that improve TTS client’s banking experience, and strike the right balance of impact, technology cost, and a measurable impact on the business
Manage LMS Brokered Deposits along with the Cash Sweep Program and consistently look for opportunities to improve the current state of the product operational capabilities.
Partner with local product stakeholders to grow On and Off-Balance Sheet product capabilities in Latin America, providing subject matter expertise to drive the expansion
Interact with Sales regularly to understand customer needs and translate those needs into product requirements
Develop the vision, strategy, and product roadmap for future investments into Liquidity Products
Partner with in-business control, risk and legal to understand the impact of regulatory considerations
Build consensus and awareness of value proposition throughout the organization
Participates and facilitates product discussions with partners in finance, technology, legal, credit risk, operations, and systems capabilities to ensure seamless delivery of program expansions
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree/University degree. Master’s degree preferred
6+ years of relevant experience
Product Development experience strongly preferred
Familiarity with 2052a preferred.
Product Management experience strongly preferred; familiarity with deposits and short-term investments preferred
Competencies: Strong organizational and communication skills; resilience; teamwork
Ability to manage and influence within a matrix organization
Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
