We are currently hiring for a Shipping & Receiving Specialist
Responsibilities:
- Handle daily inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring proper packaging, documentation, and routing
- Process shipping and receiving documentation, including international and regulated goods
- Utilize Epicor ERP system to accurately track, receive, and ship product and materials
- Assist with kitting duties, organizing parts and materials for production needs
- Communicate with carriers and vendors to coordinate shipments and resolve delivery issues
- Ensure compliance with DOT, ITAR, and company policies and procedures
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment in a safe and effective manner
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
- 1–3 years of experience in a shipping and receiving role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with ERP systems preferred; Epicor experience a plus
- Valid forklift license preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- DOT certification preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping and inventory handling
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
