Position Summary
The Shop Technician position will include preventative maintenance and cleaning of climate control equipment, cleaning and organizing the workshop, storage areas (inside and outside), and general building maintenance.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct maintenance and repairs on damaged/broken equipment
- Restock all route trucks each day to be prepared for the next day’s business needs
- Maintain a clean/safe/organized work area at all times
- Ability to diagnose and conduct preventative maintenance on equipment
- Communicate with internal customers in a positive, friendly, professional manner at all times
- Follows all company policies and procedures and supports organizations goals and values
- Other duties as assigned or needed
Position Requirements
- Safely walk, reach (including above your head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel as necessary to perform the job duties.
- Ability to work in the elements of all 4 seasons to include adverse and inclement weather
- Push/pull/lift 100-200lbs on a regular basis
- Mechanical aptitude and basic understanding of using hand tools, power tools
- Good interpersonal skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to problem solve
