About the Role
We’re looking for a creative and execution-focused Social Media Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who lives and breathes social trends, can shoot and edit video on the fly, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-performance environment where our community sets the standard.
In this role, you’ll create and publish short-form content primarily on Instagram — as well as Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn — to help Side show up as impressively as the elite agents we serve. You’ll manage our brand and executive presence across platforms, identify timely opportunities to engage, and work with both internal stakeholders and our agent partners to bring content ideas to life quickly, creatively, and consistently.
About Our Customers
We serve a highly discerning, relationship-driven customer base—top 1–5% real estate professionals in competitive, high-value markets. Our clients are entrepreneurial, brand-conscious, and deeply connected within their communities. They expect concierge service and value trust, reputation, and personalization. Marketing to this audience requires precision, credibility, and a deep understanding of how to create value through relationships.
Responsibilities
As Side’s Social Media Specialist, you will drive both strategy and execution across both Side’s brand channels and those of our executive team. This isn’t a reactive role. We’re looking for someone who will bring ideas to the table, spot opportunities before they’re obvious, and create content that commands attention from the most successful agents in the country.
Content Creation & Publishing
- Own the end-to-end creation of short-form video content: filming, editing, sound, captions, and publishing across Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to translate company priorities into engaging content ideas.
- Travel occasionally to capture real-time content at events, off-sites, and on-the-go shoots with our CEO.
- Develop a weekly content calendar across platforms that aligns with marketing priorities, events, and thought leadership goals.
- Support the development of executive social content, including ghostwritten LinkedIn posts and repurposing thought leadership into shareable formats.
- Capture, repackage, and distribute behind-the-scenes content and real-time moments at events, office gatherings, and team off-sites.
- Ensure everything published is visually, tonally, and strategically on-brand.
Social Strategy & Channel Ownership
- Own the content calendar and growth strategy for Side’s brand accounts and select executive accounts across Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube Shorts, with an emphasis on short-form video.
- Develop and test new content formats, concepts, and campaign ideas.
- Monitor analytics and performance to continuously improve channel engagement and posting cadence.
- Stay on top of trends, memes, audio, and platform updates
- Identify and jump on high-leverage moments for real-time engagement (e.g., industry news, big partner wins, etc.)
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience managing brand and/or executive social media accounts, preferably in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Proven ability to create and publish short-form video content (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn videos), including shooting, editing, sound, captions, and publishing
- Proficient in mobile-first content creation tools (e.g., CapCut, InShot, Adobe Premiere Rush, Canva, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of social media best practices, including optimal posting cadence, hashtag strategy, and visual storytelling
- Demonstrated success growing and engaging audiences across Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube
- Ability to translate brand and business priorities into compelling, on-brand content that resonates with a high-caliber, entrepreneurial audience
- Highly attuned to emerging social trends, memes, platform updates, and industry conversations, with the instinct to jump on real-time opportunities
- Comfortable collaborating with internal stakeholders, including marketing, leadership, and customers, to ideate and execute content
- Willingness to travel occasionally for events and on-the-go content capture
- Strong attention to detail with an eye for brand voice, tone, and visual identity
