About this position
SeeScan is seeking a Sourcing Specialist to source and develop supplier relationships for our in-house electronics manufacturing operations.
This is a fully onsite position located in Kearny Mesa.
Compensation
The salary range for our Sourcing Specialist position is $65,000 to $125,000 annually.
This range represents a good faith estimate based on the qualifications we expect to find in a successful candidate. Actual compensation offered may be less or greater than this estimate based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, our assessment of your ability to bring value to our organization.

In this position, you will
- Create and execute plans to identify and secure cost-efficient contracts and suppliers
- Strengthen current supplier partnerships and expand supply chain diversity
- Identify suppliers who will collaborate in developing and supporting new design materials
- Communicate with different departments, including engineering and production, to ensure that supplier capabilities match our manufacturing and R&D needs
Your background
- 5+ years' experience sourcing suppliers for electronics manufacturing
- Experience with strategic analysis of market trends
- Experience in sourcing and developing new supplier partnerships
About you
- Adaptable and flexible – comfortable working in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities and moving targets
- Proven negotiation skills and ability to optimize supplier relationships
- Self-motivated, able to devise and execute strategies with minimal guidance
- Strong understanding of electronics manufacturing processes and materials
