Position Summary:
The State Director of Operations – Virginia will oversee all aspects of our security operations within the state. This role is responsible for developing the Virginia market, ensuring operational excellence, managing client relationships, scheduling, and identifying new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a passion for business growth, operational efficiency, and team development.
Compensation:
This is a full-time salaried position at $75,000 per year, with additional benefits and potential for future profit-sharing tied to Virginia state revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day operations for Blue Life Security in Virginia.
- Develop and execute strategies to grow the company’s presence and client base in the state.
- Oversee scheduling and ensure adequate coverage for all sites and events.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Ensure compliance with all Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) regulations.
- Serve as or become the company’s designated Compliance Agent for Virginia.
- Recruit, train, and manage security personnel.
- Monitor operational performance, client satisfaction, and profitability.
- Collaborate with company leadership to set goals, budgets, and growth strategies.
- Represent the company in networking events, industry meetings, and business development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Must be licensed to work security in the state of Virginia (DCJS certified).
- Must be a certified Compliance Agent or willing to become certified.
- Proven experience in operations management, preferably in the security industry.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of motivation and commitment to growing a new market.
- Business development and client relations experience strongly preferred.
