We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Stocking Associate to join our team. As a Stock Associate, you’ll play a vital role in supporting daily operations by keeping our sales floor fully stocked, clean, and organized. Duties
- Receive and unpack merchandise deliveries, ensuring all items are accounted for and in good condition.
- Stock shelves and displays with products, maintaining an organized and visually appealing layout.
- Utilize equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts to move heavy items safely throughout the store or warehouse.
- Assist with inventory management by conducting regular counts and reporting discrepancies.
- Maintain cleanliness in the stockroom and sales floor, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Package items for shipment or storage as needed, following company guidelines for product handling.
- Provide support at the cash register during peak hours or as needed, assisting customers with purchases.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and excellent customer service.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or retail environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with cash register operations is a plus.
- Ability to operate pallet jacks and forklifts safely; certification may be required.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
- A proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness and organization in all areas of work.
