Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Membership Manager to lead our membership growth initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales and management, with a focus on building relationships and driving business development. This role is essential in enhancing member engagement and satisfaction while expanding our reach within the community.
Duties
- Develop and implement strategic plans for membership growth and retention.
- Conduct outside sales activities to attract new members, including cold calling and direct sales efforts.
- Manage existing accounts, ensuring high levels of customer service and satisfaction.
- Utilize CRM software to track leads, manage territory sales, and analyze membership data.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create effective promotional campaigns that resonate with potential members.
- Conduct product demos and presentations to showcase the benefits of membership.
- Engage in B2B sales initiatives to establish partnerships that enhance membership offerings.
- Oversee lead generation efforts and follow up on potential leads to convert them into active members.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with prospective members or partners.
- Provide training and support for team members involved in sales management activities.
Experience
- Proven experience in outside sales, account management, or business development is essential.
- Familiarity with technology sales, particularly in a B2B environment, is highly desirable.
- Strong skills in negotiation, customer service, and relationship building are critical for success in this role.
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM software is preferred for managing member interactions effectively.
- Demonstrated ability in territory management, lead generation, inside sales, and upselling techniques will be beneficial.
- Excellent analytical skills to assess market trends and member feedback for continuous improvement.
