Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Ultrasonographer to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound examinations to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires a strong understanding of medical imaging techniques, patient care, and anatomy knowledge. The Ultrasonographer will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic information.
Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, pelvic, and obstetric scans.
- Utilize appropriate medical imaging equipment and techniques to obtain clear and accurate images.
- Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures, address concerns, and ensure comfort during examinations.
- Maintain aseptic technique throughout all procedures to ensure patient safety.
- Collaborate with physicians in diagnostic radiology by providing detailed reports on findings.
- Ensure proper documentation of patient information and imaging results in accordance with medical terminology standards.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain equipment in optimal working condition.
- Provide exceptional patient care by ensuring a supportive environment throughout the imaging process.
Requirements
- Certification in Sonography from an accredited program is required.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology related to ultrasound procedures.
- Experience in Ob/Gyn ultrasound is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare team members.
- Ability to apply aseptic technique in clinical settings.
- A solid understanding of diagnostic radiology principles and practices.
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour
