Watersports and Beach Attendant

Job Description:

• Carry and install beach chairs, cabanas and umbrellas for guests.

-Provide assistance and instructions on how to safely operate rental equipment such as wave- runners, paddleboards, kayaks etc.

• Assist in keeping rental equipment clean and properly maintained.
• Physically able to carry paddleboards, kayaks, and other beach items as needed.
• Maintain the beach area in accordance to set standards.
• Maintain proper inventory of supplies, umbrellas, amenities and other items required for service delivery.
• Greet and welcome all guests and members.
• Control and monitor activities on the beach.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions.
• Follow all company, hotel safety rules and procedures.
• Participate in all scheduled training and orientation meetings.
• Work year-round outdoors on the beach.

Beach Attendant/Watersports Skills required:

• Must be outgoing, friendly demeanor
• Enjoy dealing with the public.
• Great verbal communication skills
• Highly responsible
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Lift a minimum of 50lbs if required.
• Comfortable working in extreme weather conditions, such as heat, cold, and/or rain.
• Available to work flexible schedule; weekends and holidays.
