Well-established, highly rated Durham law firm which provides excellent legal services to clients in areas of plaintiff’s personal injury, employment law and workers’ compensation is seeking an experienced Workers’ Compensation Paralegal. Some paralegal experience in workers’ compensation is strongly preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate with paralegal experience and appropriate transferable skills. Skills in teamwork, organization and communication are important for this position which involves personal injury and workers’ compensation cases. Roles and Responsibilities
- Paralegal work on workers’ compensation cases.
- Communication with Clients, parties and medical providers.
- Scheduling mediations and litigation events.
Qualifications
- Paralegal experience in Workers’ Compensation or related fields with transferable skills
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple files simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of work.
- Familiarity with document review processes, medical records and legal terminology preferred.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
