Workers’ Compensation Paralegal – Personal Injury Law Firm
Location: Gainesville, GA (In-Office)

About the Role:
Smith Hulsey Law is hiring a paralegal with experience in Georgia workers’ compensation to support a caseload that includes both workers’ comp and personal injury matters. We're looking for someone who understands the process, can manage deadlines, and is comfortable handling cases from intake through resolution. If you're detail-oriented, efficient, and confident in your WC knowledge, we’d love to connect.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage workers’ compensation files from initial intake through settlement or hearing
- Draft pleadings, discovery responses, and hearing requests
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients
- Monitor deadlines, file documents with the SBWC, and assist in trial prep
- Navigate medical records, wage statements, and benefit calculations
Qualifications:
- Experience in workers’ comp law strongly preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Comfortable managing a large caseload with deadlines
