Do you have a passion for fitness and a heart for helping others thrive? The Crystal Lake Park District is seeking an enthusiastic and certified Yoga Fitness Instructor to lead dynamic and engaging classes that energize our community!
As a valued member of our Recreation team, you'll bring energy, safety, and professionalism to each class while encouraging participants to reach their personal best.
What You’ll Do:
- Teach safe, effective, and inspiring fitness classes.
- Create and implement engaging fitness programs for all levels.
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and promote a clean, safe environment.
- Communicate with participants, staff, and the public in a friendly, professional manner.
- Promote Park District programs and encourage class feedback through evaluations.
What You Bring:
- Current fitness certification(s) required.
- CPR/AED and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain).
- Positive attitude, reliability, and excellent public interaction skills.
- Willingness to continually grow your knowledge in fitness.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing schedules.
- A passion for making fitness fun, accessible, and rewarding!
Work Schedule:
Part-time, flexible hours—including days, evenings, and weekends depending on program needs.
Location:
Classes may be held indoors or outdoors at various Crystal Lake Park District facilities.
