IT Field Technician

Salary: $30 – $35 per hour

Field Technician Required.

We are a Family-Owned IT business located in Southland, established 22 years ago.

We have offices in both Winton and Te Anau and provide IT Services to a wide range of clients across a number of business sectors.

We are looking for a Field Technician who is up for the challenge of configuring, installing & maintaining a variety of ICT equipment during a working week, including any of the following key tasks:-

• Installation of structured cabling solutions
• Data Cable Termination
• Installation of data cabinets and patch panels
• Starlink
• CCTV installation & maintenance
• Point to Point Wifi link setup, installation & maintenance
• Firewall Configuration (Watchguard)
• Technical Troubleshooting & Diagnostics
• Onsite Technical Support

Location, Rate of Pay and Hours of Work:

• Located in Winton, Southland, New Zealand
• The hourly pay rate band for this role is $30 - $35 per hour
• Minimum Guaranteed hours of work - 35 hours per week

This role is for an existing technician with a minimum of two years of relevant work experience.

The minimum qualification level required for this job is a Level 5 (certificate or diploma) in Information Technology.
