Great Opportunity
We’re seeking an IT Support person to join our busy, professional team. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will provide day to day IT support and work with our external IT providers to keep our computer systems, hardware and networks running smoothly.
This varied role will suit someone who enjoys practical problem solving and helping others use technology confidently. You’ll be accurate, organised and approachable, with the ability to manage competing priorities and explain technical issues clearly. This role may also suit a student or someone studying towards an IT degree or certificate who is keen to gain practical experience in a healthcare setting.
Your responsibilities will include
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, printer and network issues, escalating to external IT providers when needed.
• Set up computers, software, user accounts and access permissions, including support for staff working from home.
• Provide practical IT support and training for staff, and assist patients with the patient portal.
• Assist with system maintenance, software installations, security updates and the introduction of new technology.
• Log technical issues, document solutions, follow up with service providers and maintain IT procedures and equipment records.
