At the heart of Apata’s operations lie our harvest and processing facilities, strategically located in Te Puke and Katikati. Our packhouses and cool-storage facilities support our growers and wider kiwifruit and avocado operations.

The Role:
This is a permanent role supporting our internal IT environment across multiple sites. You’ll be part of a close-knit team, assisting with maintenance, upgrades, configuration, and deployment of end-user systems.
KeyResponsibilities
- Provide IT support across hardware, software, and networks
- Troubleshoot issues and assist users
- Manage system setups, updates, and documentation
- Maintain user access and data security
- Foster strong working relationships
We’re looking for someone who has:
- A confident, can-do attitude
- Strong people skills, with the ability to build relationships with a wide range of people while confidently using technology and systems
- A naturally curious and analytical mindset
- Strong computer skills, including a good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and other common desktop applications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the resilience to navigate challenges positively
- Effective time management and organisational skills
- A willingness to learn, adapt, and continuously develop
- A tertiary (or equivalent) qualification
- Understanding of ITIL support principles
- Experience in a Help Desk or IT Support environment
