Senior Integration Developer – Enterprise Integration

Auckland CBD | Permanent | 3 days in office per week

We’re looking for a Senior Integration Developer to join a large and complex enterprise environment, working across integration and API initiatives that support multiple business areas.

This is a hands-on technical role suited to someone who enjoys designing and building integrations, working across different platforms and systems, and solving complex technical problems.

About the role You’ll be responsible for designing, developing and delivering integration solutions across SAP and MuleSoft platforms, while contributing to API development and broader integration projects.

You’ll work closely with technical teams, architects, functional consultants and external partners to deliver reliable integration solutions and support projects through the full software development lifecycle.

What you’ll be doing

• Design, develop and deliver integration services across SAP PI/PO, SAP Cloud Integration and MuleSoft
• Build and design APIs using MuleSoft from a range of data sources
• Contribute to high-level and detailed technical design, including as-built documentation
• Provide technical guidance and support to functional consultants and project teams
• Work across multiple business units and integration projects
• Coordinate with external delivery partners and track technical work
• Contribute to engineering best practice, continuous improvement and knowledge sharing
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical integration issues

What we’re looking for You’ll ideally bring:

• 10+ years' IT experience
• Strong hands-on experience developing and architecting integration solutions
• Experience with SAP PI/PO, ideally including BRM and BPM
• Experience with SAP BTP / Cloud Integration and/or MuleSoft
• Strong understanding of SOAP, REST, JSON, XML and XSLT
• Experience with Java / J2EE
• Experience working across the full software development lifecycle
• Practical experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD and build automation
• Strong API development and integration experience
• Excellent problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills

Experience with SAP S/4HANA and CRM would also be beneficial.
