Audio Visual (AV) Assistant / Support officer

Job Description

• Provide technical support for all AV-related requirements in the school.
• Set up, test, operate and dismantle AV equipment for lessons and events.
• Assist presenters, speakers and event organisers with AV and presentation needs.
• Troubleshoot audio, video, connectivity and equipment issues.
• Support live streaming, video recording, photography and hybrid/virtual events.
• Conduct basic AV knowledge-sharing sessions for staff and students.
• Manage, maintain and record AV equipment and resources.
• Ensure all AV operations follow safety procedures and school guidelines.
• Perform other AV-related duties as assigned by the ICT department

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in AV, Media, IT, Electronics or a related field.
• Preferably 2 years’ experience in AV, Multimedia or related roles.
• Experience in AV operations, event support or broadcasting is preferred.
• Experience conducting training on multimedia/ICT skills is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Good knowledge of AV equipment, video recording, photography and event technology.
• Able to operate microphones, mixers, speakers, projectors, cameras and video conferencing equipment.
• Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication, organisational and teamwork skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a technica lteam..
