CIVIL CONSTRUCTION PROJECT ENGINEER

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise civil construction projects.
• Monitor daily site activities, project progress and work schedules.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants and suppliers.
• Ensure construction works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor quality of work.
• Prepare project reports, progress updates and technical documentation.
• Monitor project costs, materials and manpower requirements.
• Identify and resolve site and construction-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety and health requirements.
• Coordinate with the project team to ensure timely completion of projects.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in civil construction or project engineering.
• Experience in construction project coordination and site supervision.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and project specifications.
• Good knowledge of construction methods, materials and site practices.
• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Willing to work on construction sites and project locations.
• Candidates with relevant Singapore construction experience will be an advantage.
