Job description
Responsibilities
- Shape and champion the group's learning and development strategy to grow workforce capability in step with current and future business requirements
- Formulate and uphold learning policies, processes, governance standards and operating procedures so that a consistent, compliant approach applies across all regions
- Craft and refine competency frameworks, proficiency standards and career development pathways that underpin recruitment, employee development and succession planning
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners and business leaders to pinpoint capability gaps and spearhead the organisation-wide Training Needs Analysis, setting development priorities and annual learning plans
- Create leadership development strategies and programmes, and arrange targeted development opportunities for key talent and critical roles as part of succession planning
- Supervise mandatory training requirements, certification records and refresher schedules to meet organisational, industry and audit requirements
- Steer the governance and continuous enhancement of the Learning Management System and related learning technologies, raising user experience, efficiency, tracking and reporting capabilities
- Run corporate learning programmes, including induction, internship and scholarship schemes, and handle relationships with training providers, educational institutions and external partners
- Control learning budgets, training expenditure and applicable grants, and compile metrics, dashboards and reports that inform decisions and gauge learning effectiveness
- Mentor and guide the Executive / Senior Executive (HR), assigning work, reviewing deliverables, refining team processes and taking on ad hoc projects as directed
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Human Resources Management, Learning & Development, Organisational Development, Business Administration or a related discipline (or equivalent)
- Minimum 8 years of progressive HR experience, including significant responsibility for learning and development, talent development or organisational capability initiatives across multiple functions or locations, as well as coaching or supervising junior team members
- Strong understanding of learning needs analysis, programme design, facilitation, evaluation methodologies and adult learning principles, along with talent development, leadership development, competency frameworks and succession planning concepts
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, HR systems, and reporting and data analysis tools; prior experience with Workday HCM and/or Workday Learning is preferred
- Strong communication, interpersonal, organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels and balance strategic priorities with operational execution in a fast-paced environment
