Job description
- Develop and maintain production forecasts based on demand requirements, capacity and available resources.
- Plan and schedule production orders to meet customer requirements and agreed delivery timelines.
- Coordinate with Project Leaders, Planners and Production Supervisors to establish work priorities in line with production schedules and delivery commitments.
- Manage material and production planning activities, including material requisitions and the maintenance of Bills of Materials (BOMs) and implementation of approved design changes.
- Review material availability and production capacity to confirm customer orders and committed production schedules.
- Coordinate with Purchasing to plan and monitor material deliveries, ensuring sufficient supply while maintaining appropriate inventory levels.
- Monitor material availability and identify potential shortages or supply constraints that may affect production continuity.
- Prepare and submit periodic reports, including Excess & Obsolete (E&O) inventory and buy-down claims, as required.
- Monitor production order status and ensure timely closure to support accurate and timely invoicing.
- Prepare ad-hoc reports and provide data analysis for Management and cross-functional teams to support operational and business decision-making.
