General Description:The Payroll Manager is responsible for the highest quality service throughout our payroll teams while promoting the core values of caring, expertise and service. Essential Job Functions:Act as available resource expert for Manager’s and other office talent regarding payroll, value calculator, travel status questions, etc.Prepare and submit ACH transfers and wiresWorking knowledge of Dayforce and Bullhorn preferredMust have tax experience and knowledgeReview payroll payments, log check numbersManage completion of Combined Accountability Scorecard, weeklyResponsible for new garnishment orders, gift card entries and “Our Rewards” tax benefits for field talentPrinting and review of payroll checks and direct depositsMaintaining weekly tax report by stateResponsible for Helping Hands bonus payoutsProcessing adjustmentsProvide pre-post revenue information to senior leadershipCommunicates root cause of fluctuations in revenue and assist FP&A with weekly analysisConduct weekly one to ones, continuous evaluations of team members, including annual evaluations and coaching plansManage team workflow/volume and participation in hiring team membersAssist revenue managers with health care professional's discussions around pay issuesEscalate potential fraud issues to Division Manager(s) and Quality AssuranceProvide backup and coordinate with payroll compliance and A/R ManagersEvaluate processes for improvement and implement more efficient practices as needed with collaboration of other managers.Help to create an environment of high morale, motivation and teamworkOther duties as assignedMinimum Skills, Knowledge & Talents:Associate’s Degree or 5 years’ experience requiredBachelor’s Degree preferredKnowledge of proper grammar, spelling and rules of compositionAbility to work independently and with other team membersAbility to manage work flow and volumeAbility to mentor, coach, motivate and build assigned team/employeesAbility to travel as requiredAbility to organize and complete work in a timely mannerAbility to multi-taskAbility to communicate effectively with all levels of the organizationMust have a working knowledge of computers and software systems including Microsoft Office products and the InternetMust be able to become an expert in pay bill systems and payroll lawMust be detail-oriented and highly organizedMust have change leadership experience and strong leadership skillsMust be able to work for prolonged periods of sitting, typing and use of the phone and computerMust successfully complete onboarding training/tutorials and attend future webcasts/trainings as requiredBenefits: We offer a comprehensive benefits package to eligible employees, which may include:Medical Insurance - Choice of PPO and Consumer-Driven Health Plans (CDHP) with HSA eligibilityDental InsuranceVision Insurance401(k) with matchHealth Savings Accounts (HSA)Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) - Healthcare and Dependent CarePermissive Paid Time Off (PTO) Employee Assistance Program (EAP)Additional company provided and voluntary benefitsEqual Opportunity Statement:We are greater when we are equal.
