Technical Revenue Accounting Manager

You will structure and review complex software deals, prepare revenue-recognition memos, own revenue policies, and maintain accurate order-to-cash data. You will support close, forecasts, audits, disclosures, SOX controls, and cross-functional process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Review, structure, and approve complex bundled deals with cross-functional teams
• Prepare technical accounting memos for complex revenue transactions
• Own revenue recognition policies and technical accounting guidance
• Process and review customer orders in Salesforce and NetSuite
• Establish processes for determining standalone selling prices
• Support monthly close, revenue forecasting, audit readiness, schedules, journal entries, and reconciliations
• Prepare revenue disclosures for financial statements
• Support SOX controls, process documentation, and public-company reporting readiness
• Improve cross-functional processes and revenue predictability

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• 6+ years of progressive revenue operations, sales operations, or related experience in software businesses
• Deep understanding of ASC 606
• Experience with complex multi-year software contracts and revenue recognition
• Experience preparing technical accounting memos
• Experience building and scaling processes in a high-growth environment
• Experience with deal-desk review and approval workflows
• Analytical, process-improvement, and project-management skills
• Accuracy in handling financial data
