American Custom Drying is looking for a hard-working, responsible Blending Utility Worker to join our team! This individual will be responsible for a variety of production related functions including; labeling, dumping, filling, sealing, performing weigh outs, utilizing metal detection, palletizing, wrapping and storing product.
Essential Job Functions:
- Physically able to fill, lift, move and palletize up to 55 lbs. bags throughout the required shift.
- Dismantle, clean and assemble production equipment in an organized manner and in accordance with all SOPs.
- Inspect and verify the accuracy of all raw materials and components prior to production.
- Assure that all finished products are packaged to the highest standard of quality.
- Complete relevant paperwork and production logs in accordance with SOP’s.
- Operate in accordance will all Company, Safety, PPE, SQF, OSHA, GMP and ISO rules and regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.
- Work with team members to maximize productivity, efficiency and safety.
- Assist in the movement of product from facility to facility as needed.
- Be willing and able to work various shifts including, up to 12-hour shifts as needed.
- Responsible for following food safety programs.
