Job Summary
We are a slow-paced dental office where quality care—not quantity—is our top priority. Currently, we see patients two full days per week, and spend the remaining three days handling front desk duties, including phone calls and scheduling. We treat both our patients and team members like family and strongly value respectful, supportive teamwork. We are looking for an experienced candidate, who can help us with both front desk and assisting.
Responsibilities
- Taking X-rays, Assisting Doctors, sterilization, prepare opetory rooms.
- Greet patients warmly as they arrive at the clinic and assist them with check-in procedures.
- Schedule and confirm appointments.
- Manage patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Handle incoming calls, answer inquiries, and provide information regarding services offered.
- Process patient payments and manage billing inquiries effectively.
- Assist dental staff with administrative tasks as needed, including coordinating medical imaging and X-Ray appointments.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area to enhance the patient experience.
- Stay updated on dental terminology, procedures, and clinic policies to provide accurate information to patients.
Requirements
- Dental assisting experience with minimum of 2 years.
- Experience in a similar role within a dental clinic is preferred.
- Familiarity with dental management software is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of anatomy, dental terminology, and medical imaging processes is beneficial.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism at all times.
- A positive attitude towards learning new systems and adapting to changes in the workplace.
