Who WE are looking for:
In this role, you will monitor staffing levels for Food and Beverage outlets and adjust as needed to meet business demands. You'll oversee recruitment, onboarding, and compliance training for new team members, ensuring smooth integration. Evaluating candidates through interviews and assessments is key, along with maintaining relationships throughout the hiring process. You'll ensure BASSET and Food Handler certifications are completed for all staff, complying with local regulations. Additionally, you'll develop effective recruitment strategies and generate tailored reports for management. Responsibilities include managing employment applications, selecting candidates, keeping job descriptions updated, and posting positions both in-house and online. Other tasks may be assigned as needed.

What is expected of YOU:
In this role, you will monitor staffing levels for all Food and Beverage outlets, making adjustments as needed to align with business demands. You will oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and compliance training for all new team members, ensuring a seamless integration into the organization. Evaluating candidate qualifications through interviews, assessments, and reference checks will be a key part of your responsibilities, alongside building and maintaining relationships with candidates throughout the hiring process. Responsible for overseeing the completion of BASSET and Food Handler certifications for each team member, ensuring compliance with local food and beverage safety regulations and facilitating training as needed. You will develop and implement effective recruitment strategies as demands arise, generating specialized weekly and monthly reports tailored to the needs of departments and management. Additionally, you will administer the processes for employment applications, selection, and interviewing, forwarding qualified candidates to hiring managers. Keeping job descriptions current and posting open positions in-house and on the American Place website according to approved requests will also be part of your duties. Other reasonable job responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
Experience YOU will need:
High School Diploma or GED preferred
4+ years of related experience or College Degree in HR, experience in ADP preferred
Strong understanding of service industry trends and competitor practices to enhance recruitment strategies.
Strong computer skills, proficient in Microsoft 365 and Google Suites.
Must be highly organized and detail-oriented.
Superior verbal, written communication skills.
Bilingual a plus
Specific skills that are required to perform this job.
Ex: Computer literate (proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel).
Good Communication Skills (Ability to communicate technical information to nontechnical audiences).
Handles administrative work - (receives, sorts and files monthly personnel action reports).
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer.
Frequently speak, read, write, stand, walk, bend and stoop.
Some mobility for travel to job fairs or client meetings.
Ability to occasionally lift and carry materials up to 30 pounds.
