Front Desk Medical Administrative Assistant
Personable, energetic, front desk pediatric medical office team member to provide excellent service to kids (babies thru college!) & their parents/caregivers!
***MUST BE VACCINATED FOR COVID-19***
Spanish Speaking preferred though not required.
Qualifications include Multi-tasking, Flexibility, Telephone Skills, Customer Service, Time Management, Organization, Attention to Detail, Scheduling, Professionalism, and Quality Focus, insurance verification, medical terminology, medical coding and billing.
Working interview with team required after initial interview.
Medical Office Front Desk Skills and Qualifications:
- Understands the importance of maintaining confidentiality; able to maintain confidentiality under HIPAA standards.
- Must have the ability to exercise a high degree of diplomacy and tact; excellent customer services and interpersonal communication skills; Cultural sensitivity and demonstrated ability to work with diverse people groups.
- Phone skills; able to effectively relate via the telephone and in-person to serve the needs of Clinic patients/clients/visitors in a manner that is efficient and productive.
- Must be highly flexible; adaptable.
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills in English; Additional language abilities (Spanish/other)
- Medical billing/coding experience helpful.
- Knowledgeable of Insurance plans and Insurance verification.
- Ability to work well under pressure with minimal supervision. Proven flexibility and willingness to handle a variety of tasks.
- Willingness to work days and evenings.
- Computer knowledge and skills.
