Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front Desk Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality. The Front Desk Agent will handle guest check-ins and check-outs, manage reservations, and assist with any inquiries or requests to enhance the guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide assistance with check-in and check-out processes.
- Manage individual and group reservations, including modifications and cancellations, while ensuring accuracy in the booking system.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally, striving to exceed expectations in guest relations.
- Maintain knowledge of hotel services, local attractions, and events to provide guests with relevant information.
- Collaborate with houskeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for incoming guests.
- Uphold high standards of phone etiquette when responding to calls from potential guests or current patrons.
- Assist in managing inventory of supplies at the front desk and ensure the area is clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hospitality role or customer service environment is preferred.
- Strong communication skills; multilingual or bilingual abilities are desirable.
- Proficient in guest services and relations, with a focus on creating positive experiences for all visitors.
- Familiarity with hotel management software is a plus; training will be provided as necessary.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for managing multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- A background in hospitality management is advantageous but not required.
