About the Role
We’re looking for an Inside Sales Manager to drive revenue growth and sales performance within Rumpl’s wholesale business. This role is focused on securing orders, expanding account potential, and delivering best-in-class service to our retail partners through proactive outreach, operational precision, and customer-focused selling.
The Inside Sales Manager owns a defined portfolio of accounts, executing seasonal initiatives and maximizing in-season opportunities across independent, regional, and national retailers. You’ll lead with a revenue-first mindset while helping build scalable systems and documentation (SOPs) that elevate the entire sales function.

What You’ll Do
As Inside Sales Manager, you'll be at the heart of Rumpl’s wholesale growth engine—driving revenue, deepening customer relationships, and making sure every account feels supported and ready to win. You’ll manage your own portfolio of retail partners, guiding them through seasonal planning, in-season opportunities, and product education.
This role is equal parts sales strategist, relationship builder, and process optimizer. You’ll proactively identify ways to grow business, streamline how we work, and ensure our tools and systems are buttoned up. You’ll also have the chance to hit the road—supporting accounts, attending tradeshows, and helping bring the Rumpl story to life in person.
No two days are the same, but you can expect to:
- Lead and grow a dynamic book of business across retail partners and channels
- Own seasonal order capture and help accounts plan, forecast, and succeed
- Build strong, ongoing relationships with customers and solve challenges quickly
- Bring rigor and structure to how we operate—creating documentation and SOPs
- Collaborate across teams to support product launches and go-to-market success
- Represent Rumpl at events and on the road through travel and in-person meetings
What You’ll Bring
- 3–5 years of experience in wholesale, brand, or retail sales; outdoor industry preferred
- Proven success managing accounts and driving sales targets
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced training in business or sales is a plus
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and NetSuite
- Experience with digital wholesale tools like Envoy, Elastic, or NuORDER
- Excellent communication skills with a strong sense of ownership and follow-through
- High attention to detail and a passion for building structure and scalable processes
- Comfort traveling to tradeshows, customer meetings, and sales events
