Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in teaching and coaching various physical activities, with a focus on fostering a positive and engaging environment for students. This role requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage behavior effectively while promoting physical fitness, teamwork, and personal development among participants.
Duties
- Develop and implement lesson plans for diverse physical activities, including swimming, martial arts, basketball, cheerleading, climbing, and judo.
- Instruct students in proper techniques and safety measures related to each activity.
- Provide individualized attention to students to enhance their skills and confidence.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to maintain a positive learning environment.
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff to organize events, competitions, and workshops.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed during activities to promote a safe environment for all participants.
Skills
- Lifeguard experience is preferred for swimming instruction.
- Strong background in sports coaching or teaching physical education.
- Proficiency in karate or other martial arts is highly desirable.
- Experience working with children in childcare or educational settings.
- Ability to engage students with diverse learning styles and backgrounds.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey instructions and feedback.
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques to support student development.

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $22.80 - $27.45 per hour
