Join us as the Program Manager for the AbilIT Team, where you’ll lead a passionate team dedicated to helping individuals with disabilities train for, access, and succeed in meaningful careers in IT and administrative support.
About the Role
The Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and strategic growth of the AbilIT program. This includes managing staff, collaborating with employer and community partners, ensuring service excellence, and tracking impactful outcomes. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a collaborative, mission-aligned, and results-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of training, support services, and job placement efforts for program participants.
- Supervise a cross-functional team, including trainers, job coaches, and administrative staff.
- Cultivate and maintain strong partnerships with employers, training vendors, and disability service organizations.
- Manage the program budget and ensure alignment with funder and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Oversee participant onboarding, enrollment, and selection processes.
- Track and report on key performance metrics such as enrollment, training completion, certifications, and job placements.
- Facilitate team meetings, guide strategic direction, and promote alignment with program mission and goals.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in workforce development, education, human services, special education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in program management, ideally in workforce development, disability inclusion, or related fields.
- Familiarity with IT career pathways and certifications (CompTIA A+, ITF+, Microsoft, etc.).
- Proven leadership and team development skills, with excellent communication and project management abilities.
- Experience with data and case management systems such as Salesforce, Apricot, or similar.
