Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our Hampton hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, a passion for guest relations, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently while ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications using hotel management software.
- Answer phone calls promptly, providing information about the hotel services and amenities while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely manner to enhance guest experience.
- Maintain knowledge of local attractions, events, and services to assist guests with recommendations.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for incoming guests.
- Uphold the highest standards of hospitality management by maintaining cleanliness and organization at the front desk area.
Experience
- Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with hotel management systems is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on customer service excellence.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing our capacity to serve diverse guests effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to handle phone systems professionally while maintaining a positive attitude in all interactions.
