Due to our rapid growth, we are looking for a remote Payroll Account Specialist to join our team. As a Payroll Account Specialist at Mosaic, you would partner with our clients to manage the end-to-end payroll processes based on their business needs. You would bring your UKG Pro payroll expertise to be the go-to payroll resource for your clients in a wide array of industries.
What you’ll do:
- Lead multi-site, multi-state and multi-frequency payroll for your clients with a high level of accuracy and timeliness
- Lead onboarding of new UKG Pro Managed Payroll Services clients to ensure that our clients’ expectations of quality, delivery timeline, strategy, and Mosaic’s payroll methodology are exceeded
- Draw on your payroll and HRIS expertise and utilize a consultative approach to recommend and implement solutions for our clients’ payroll needs, such as improving system utilization and refining their payroll processes while
- Manage day-to-day payroll support along with off cycle payrolls, quarter end & year end audits, payroll balancing, direct deposit and positive pay files, and client tax filings, amendments, and reconciliations
- Partner with clients to evaluate payroll practices and define areas for improvement, such as improving system utilization, identifying training needs, and refining the payroll processes
- Acquire and maintain yearly UKG Pro certification
- Complete UKG Ready training
What makes you successful:
Need to haves:
- 3+ years multi-state and full-cycle payroll experience
- 2+ years of experience processing payroll in UKG Pro/UltiPro
- Ability to consistently work hours that align with our client agreements (Monday through Friday, 8:00am CT to 5:00pm CT)
Nice to haves:
- A completed Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University
- Canadian payroll experience
- An FPC or CPP certification
- UKG Ready experience
How you’ll be measured:
- Maintaining at least 90% accuracy in payroll processes
- Following client checklists to produce consistent service delivery for each unique client workflow
- Consistently updating client Statement of Procedures (SOP) and checklist after any process changes
- Demonstrating excellent consulting skills, including relationship building, communication and responsiveness, land & expand awareness, focus on quality of deliverables, setting and managing expectations, and providing sound recommendations to clients
- Pursuing additional professional development towards UKG Pro as needed
- Managing day-to-day operational activities, including timekeeping and maintaining your book of business
