Responsibilities
- Instruct and evaluate students in a live work setting who are performing general services and repairs.
- Focus on commercial and residential systems, water heating, gas supply, math, blueprints, etc.
- Threading, grooving, soldering, brazing, cast iron, PVC, and PEX projects will be assembled in the shop.
- Teaching in a lecture classroom setting in addition to the hands-on.
- Assist in the maintenance of lab and classroom equipment.
Qualifications
- 5 years field experience as a Pipefitter.
- Community college or technical school teaching experience a plus but not required.
- Ability to motivate students of diverse backgrounds and learning styles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Adequate knowledge of Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word, Excel
