Job Description
We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach in our Electrical Trades Program. This is a part-time, professional position reporting directly to the Program Director. The primary responsibility will be to teach Electrical/Electronic courses. Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students, assist the program director and participate in department training, meetings and graduation.
Qualifications- Completion of an Electrical/Electronics program resulting in a Certificate of Completion or a Diploma; associate degree preferred
- Certification:
- Certified Electrician not required but desired
- Journeyman Electrician is highly desired by not required
- At least three years of experience as an Electrician, Electronics Technician, or similar position
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized, motivated and results driven
- Prior higher education/postsecondary teaching experience preferred
