POSITION SUMMARY:
The Sales and Community Engagement Manager is responsible for expanding PHRI’s community presence and strengthening referral pipelines by developing relationships with community organizations, healthcare providers, local stakeholders, and prospective clients. This position leads outreach campaigns, coordinates community events, and drives enrollment in programs and services through strategic partnerships, engagement efforts, and targeted marketing.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement outreach strategies that support PHRI’s program growth and community impact goals.
- Build partnerships with referral sources such as hospitals, schools, clinics, shelters, and social service agencies.
- Represent PHRI at community events, resource fairs, and public forums.
- Conduct presentations about PHRI’s programs and services to external audiences.
- Coordinate outreach team activities, materials, and calendars.
- Track community engagement metrics and develop regular impact reports.
- Collaborate with internal departments to align outreach with program capacity and client needs.
- Work with marketing staff to design outreach materials, digital content, and branded campaigns.
- Ensure culturally competent communication and inclusive engagement practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, public health, marketing, or related field.
- 3+ years of community engagement, business development, or outreach experience, ideally in behavioral health or nonprofit sectors.
- Strong public speaking and relationship-building skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Washington, D.C. community networks and healthcare landscape.
- Experience using CRM tools and tracking outreach data.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, Adobe) and various business software.
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.A.
