Position Summary
We are looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to support our sales team by managing sales operations tasks, prospecting, and building customer relationships. The ideal candidate will be organized, efficient, and comfortable with multitasking in a fast-paced environment. This role is 100% On Site (Mon-Fri).
This is an entry-level opportunity – perfect for those who are starting in sales or looking to pivot into the field. Ideal candidate would be someone who is highly motivated and eager to develop a career in sales.

Responsibilities List (included but not limited to):
- Prepare quotations and sales reports by using CRM and ERP systems.
- Communicate with customers regarding order status, product availability, and delivery schedules.
- Support the sales team with
reviewing deals, editing quotes, and maintaining client records.
- Coordinate with other departments such as logistics, accounting, and customer operations to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
- Build a rapport with customers to increase run rate business and ensure growth of the customer base
- Promote attendance for events (conferences, webinars, seminars) and provide follow-up reach outs to attendees.
- Travel and represent Boston BioProducts at customer visits and conferences/events.
- Increase knowledge of BBP products and services, and customer segments and buyer personas.
- Collaborate with BD/Project Management, Customer Operations, Marketing, Product Management, and Operational Teams by providing customer feedback, product and service suggestions, and new business opportunities.
- Execute customer order follow-ups for up-selling and cross-selling opportunities
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Life Sciences Discipline or Business.
Experience:
- 0-1
year of sales, sales administrative, or sales operations
- Life sciences experience preferred
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of sales processes (prospecting, quoting, customer engagement) and customer relationship management (CRM) systems
- Familiarity of cell culture and molecular biology techniques and workflows used in R&D, Diagnostics, and Manufacturing a plus.
