Enterprise wide GRC transformation project opportunity
Initial 12‑month contract (multi‑year program)
South Sydney | 3 days on‑site, 2 days WFH
Our client is embarking on a major multi‑year transformation to mature it's Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) model enabled by a new technology platform. They are seeking an experienced Project Delivery Manager to lead the delivery of this enterprise‑wide program across business process, technology, data, integration, security and change.
This role is ideal for a senior delivery leader who has previously rolled out a large‑scale GRC solution and can confidently guide both business and technology stakeholders through structured, standardised processes.
You will oversee a mixed team of internal staff and system integrators, and work closely with the vendor during the contracting and scope‑finalisation phase.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of an enterprise GRC transformation program spanning business process change and cloud technology implementation.
- Manage project planning, scheduling, reporting, financials, risks, issues, dependencies and governance artefacts.
- Oversee resource planning, capacity management and performance across internal teams and external vendors.
- Coordinate cross‑functional dependencies across business processes, technology, data, integration, security and change.
- Drive business process standardisation and alignment to out‑of‑the‑box GRC operating models (Risk, Controls, Compliance, Assurance, Audit, Obligations, Regulatory).
- Manage the full system changeover including data extraction, migration, cutover and transition to BAU support.
- Engage confidently with General Managers, Executives and senior stakeholders in a complex government environment.
- Ensure project delivery meets internal PMO requirements, stage‑gate approvals and reporting deadlines.
Required Experience & Skills
- Prior experience leading large‑scale GRC programs across both business and technology domains, and ideally in regulated operational sectors similar to mining, aviation, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, transport and government
- Strong understanding of GRC operating models, frameworks and lines of defence.
- Proven experience delivering third‑party cloud solutions
- Demonstrated success managing IT & business stakeholders in complex environments
- Experience with structured PMO disciplines: risks, issues, financials, resource management, documentation and governance artefacts.
- Clear, confident written and verbal communication skills, able to engage at senior leadership levels.
- Experience driving business process standardisation, ideally leveraging Signavio.
- Ability to manage mixed teams of internal staff and system integrators.
