An opportunity is available for an experienced Business Analyst to support a large-scale enterprise applications environment within a major Queensland Government organisation.

Working across critical corporate systems, you will partner with business stakeholders and technical teams to analyse requirements, resolve application issues and deliver system improvements across payroll, workforce management and finance platforms.

This role will suit a Business Analyst who combines strong stakeholder engagement and requirements analysis with practical experience supporting complex enterprise applications.

The opportunity

• Analyse business, user and operational requirements and translate them into functional and technical solutions.
• Develop system specifications, process documentation and supporting system records.
• Investigate application issues, incidents and change requests within agreed service levels.
• Support system configuration, unit testing, quality assurance and implementation activities.
• Contribute to application maintenance, upgrades, reporting, data exchanges and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work collaboratively with business stakeholders, developers, testers and application specialists.
• Provide guidance to colleagues and support knowledge transfer to internal teams.

About you

• Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst in a complex enterprise environment.
• Strong requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience supporting, enhancing or maintaining enterprise applications.
• Exposure to SAP HR/Payroll, SAP S/4HANA Finance, Infor WFM or comparable ERP, finance or workforce management platforms.
• Experience with functional specifications, system testing, change management and application support.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Brisbane CBD location.
• Full-time engagement, with flexible work arrangements potentially available subject to operational requirements and approval.
• Occasional work outside standard business hours may be required to support enterprise systems.
