Position Summary: Perform clerical, secretarial, and general office duties for the American Musicological Society, with whom the University is affiliated. Serve as office receptionist, answer phones, greet visitors, and schedule appointments. Perform general word processing, spreadsheet, and data entry duties utilizing basic level functions. Maintain simple department budgets and perform related light bookkeeping. Please note this a part-time (17.5 hours/week) position. Qualifications: Required Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
1+ years of office experience.
2+ years of office experience.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Proficiency with basic word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications. Light to moderate, accurate keyboarding.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Proficiency with intermediate Microsoft Word and basic Microsoft Excel. Moderate, accurate keyboarding.
Additional Information: In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the hourly rate for this position is USD $32.143. This rate is based on bargaining unit contracts.
