Position Summary


The Honey Smoked Fish Customer Service Representative’s primary responsibility is to respond to all new and existing customer requests, answer all customer inquiries, and help solve problems and offer solutions in a respectful and efficient manner satisfactorily resolving issues with one contact. Accountable for individual performance indicators of attendance, adherence to schedule, occupancy, and quality of calls to ensure that the overall business objectives and Customer Satisfaction are achieved.


Essential Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service to potential and existing HSF customers for all retail and food service customers. Process customer orders, confirm customer orders and book logistic transportation (as required). Assist customers in obtaining signed documentation (POD, missing invoices, etc.). The CSR is responsible for coordinating all mail order requests and following up on any missing documentation.


Perform other specialized tasks and projects as assigned by manager.


Participate in specialized projects such as serving on quality teams, committees, and process improvement teams.


Administer correspondences to customers including confirmation letters, telephone calls, and other correspondence as necessary for the efficient operation of Honey Smoked Fish.


Establish and maintain professional relationships with customers and our preferred delivery partners. Source new LTL carriers as needed.


Minimum Requirements

High School Diploma with previous customer service experience.

Minimum of two (2) years working in customer care

Basic computer knowledge, with preference to those with Quickbooks, Acctivate, and MS Excel experience.
