Job Description
We are looking for an individual who wants to make a difference and bring their SSD products development and storage system architecture knowledge to assist in determining the needs of the future and aid in developing the future technologies of our SSD product roadmap. You will be responsible to help us expand and strengthen our current and new business by leveraging your deep expertise.
Your skills and background will help drive the following activities:
- Technology Feasibility– Conceptualize new technologies and develop value proposition of a concept and articulate. Work closely with Architects and Engineering in global time zone to elaborate on architectural details and create a proof of concept development plans. Project manage and drive cross-functional teams to successfully complete feasibility studies. Gain traction with customers on new technologies, concepts and explore in creating value for them, motivate customers to invest in proof of concept development efforts.
- Technology Innovation– Apply your in-depth Data storage systems experience and knowledge to come up with new concepts, features and solutions. Define system level use cases and articulate how the concept improves system.
- Reference Architecture – Analyze and develop reference architectures for new technologies adoption and understand technology trends and landscape of Enterprise, Clouds and Clients SSDs. Articulate the concepts to gain consensus with your assessment of the potential technology and strategic issues.
- Product Prioritization – Strong product development experience and customer interactions. Identify innovative opportunities for new product introductions in Product Roadmap. Conduct analysis for prioritization of product portfolio including resource, competitive, strategic analysis and strategies.
Qualifications
Education & Experience Necessary for Success
- 10+ years of Technology Development and management or Product Management in data storage or related industries
- In-depth Architectural and system understanding of SSDs usage in storage and server systems in Enterprise and Data Center environments
- Must have an in-depth understanding of storage system architectures and technologies in Compute, Networking, and Storage
- Ability to handle multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional global teams in multiple time zones
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are must, including excellent presentation and public speaking capability
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is a must; MBA is a plus

The expected salary for this position is $124,380 - $207,300
