Title: Sales Operations – Data Analyst (Contract)
WW Sales Operations – Processes and Capabilities Team
Location: San Jose, CA

This resource will play a key role in delivering reporting and insights that drive sales productivity and effectiveness. With the rapid growth Nutanix is achieving, we need to measure, optimize and transform the sales organization.

This position requires an analytical mind with the ability to tell a “story” with data and align to business outcomes. You will work closely with Sales Operations to run, optimize and create a sales reporting portfolio driving efficiency and sales excellence.

You will support the Effectiveness and Productivity team by taking on responsibility for the existing sales report portfolio. This entails running weekly Salesforce reports and importing data into Tableau in order to generate the data views sales needs. You will also need to perform quality reviews on the data as well as create the executive narrative that points out the highlights for the given time period (Daily/Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly)

You must demonstrate a solid understanding of the sales lifecycle as well as experience with CRM (Salesforce), Tableau & the Microsoft Office Suite. Additionally, you will need the ability to interpret the data and write summary narratives. Will need to work with the Advanced Analytics team to refine and evolve the reports as business changes.

Responsibilities

  • Manages portfolio of sales reports and executes them in agreed to time cadence.
  • Works collaboratively with WW, Regional and Operations resources to refine reports
  • Identifies report process inefficiencies and develops a plan to eliminate waste
  • Consults with business partners on report options to identify and support programs to drive sales efficiency
  • Provides thoughtful insights based on data and trends.
  • Researches market for best in class reporting processes and options to insert automation.

Qualification and Experience

  • A proven track record of performance in sales reporting and analytics
  • Can articulate the sales lifecycle from lead to close
  • Can deliver exceptional attention to visual & design nuances in analysis presentation
  • Exceptional analytical, reporting, data manipulation, dashboard creation, problem solving and Business Intelligence skills
  • Experience with SFDC, Tableau & Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with CPQ tools, Clari, SQL and PowerBI is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented but can also see the big picture. Can crunch the numbers and clearly articulate the key takeaways in an executive summary.
  • Proficient in Power Point, and able to build professional, executive worthy decks.
  • Ability to thrive in an agile environment and meet critical deadlines.
  • Self-Directed individual who will seek out information as needed to achieve the right outcomes.
  • Very strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Group facilitation and influence skills.
  • Strong relationship management skills, including partnering and consulting.
  • Ability to identify and draw on leading-edge analytical tools and techniques.
  • Ability to independently draft narratives for different audiences
