Theraputic Support Staff

Therapeutic and supportive roommate needed in the Miracle Mile area of Los Angeles to help maintain independence for an high-functioning adult male with Bipolar Disorder. The ideal candidate will have another job and/or attend a local college, maintaining a full schedule, but can be available four evenings per week for a one-hour "check-in" meeting with client. The ideal candidate should have experience and/or education in a therapeutic-related field, such as occupational therapy, talk therapy, social work, etc

• $200 stipend per week

• Free Rent and utilities valued at $1,600 per month

• An empathetic and compassionate male roommate (25-40)*

• Client needs help with monitoring symptoms for Bipolar I*

• Roommate and client will meet for one hour, four nights per week to check-in

• Client has Bipolar I and and has is medication compliant (stable for over 5 years)
• Client sees a therapist 2x per week, a psychiatrist once a month, and a has a weekly meeting with a life coach
• Self-published author, personable, and has a great sense of humor*

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $200.00 /week
