Job Title: SCA - Accounting Clerk
Location: Patuxent River, Maryland
Introduction:
Rivet Operations Company is seeking an experienced Accounting Clerk III to join our financial support team. You’ll handle complex reconciliation tasks and support senior financial staff at Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD).
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain and reconcile financial records.
- Verify figures, calculations, and transactions.
- Assist with audit preparation and reporting.
- Handle sensitive financial data with discretion.
- Support the Travel Financial Team in travel related accounting transactions, including reconciling accounts payable balances, researching open commitment and obligations records, clearing transactions, processing requests, and scanning documents.
- Audit travel vouchers and electronically submit the vouchers for approval
- Process and track funding documents including distribution, assignment, and administrative changes in the proper document management system.
- Maintain data warehouse and financial databases.
Compensation Minimum: $21.89 per hour
Compensation Maximum: $24.49 per hour

- High school diploma and 3+ years of accounting experience.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Working knowledge of Seaport-NxG, PIEE, WAWF, EDA, and DTS.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial controls.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Physical Requirements:
- Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distance may be required. May include lifting to 25 pounds as necessary.
