This position is for a busy fast paced clinic and we are looking for a candidate who is reliable hard working , drama free. The employee will be split between front and back .
Back Office Medical Assistant Duties:
Escort patient from the waiting room to the exam room
Obtain vitals , medical history, obtain current medications
Injections
- Understand and maintain adherence to HIPAA/OSHA regulations
- Follow all Policies and Procedures written for position
Complete any tasks that are given by physician or manager.
Front Desk Coordinator Duties:
Greet patients upon entering clinic
Collect patient financial responsibilities upon check in
Answer phones
Schedule patient for new patient or follow up appointments
Qualified candidates will have the following:
- Understanding of medical terminology
- Experience in a medical office setting
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Have insurance experience and must be able to answer patients questions
Strong work ethic and reliable
Education: Diploma from an accredited Medical assistant program
Experience: New grad and up
- Medical Assistant Spanish Speaking Required
Hours:
Monday: 7am - 4pm
Tuesday: 7am - 4pm
Wednesday: 7am - 4pm
Thursday : 7am - 4pm
Friday: 7am - 12pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
