Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, reliable, and experienced Bookkeeper to support day-to-day financial operations for our commercial business. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and assisting with monthly and year-end closings. The ideal candidate is highly organized, familiar with general accounting principles, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced, professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record and maintain accurate financial transactions including general ledger entries, journal entries, and adjustments
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable in a timely and accurate manner
- Prepare and issue invoices, track collections, and follow up on outstanding balances
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and vendor statements monthly
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and closings
- Maintain organized financial records and filing systems, both digital and physical
- Coordinate with property managers, vendors, and tenants (if applicable to real estate business)
- Support preparation of documents for tax filings, audits, and financial reviews
- Monitor and manage cash flow projections and budgeting tools
- Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and accounting standards
- Assist with payroll entry and benefit tracking (if applicable)
Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- 4+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably in a commercial or property management setting
- Proficient in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and other accounting software
- Solid understanding of GAAP and bookkeeping principles
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information
- Experience with property management systems (e.g. Yardi, AppFolio) a plus

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
