We are seeking a friendly and knowledgeable Cannabis Budtender to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store, and assisting with the sale of marijuana products. Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, answering questions and providing recommendations on cannabis products.
- Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the inventory and customer areas.
- Stock shelves and ensure adequate inventory levels.
- Upsell and cross-sell products to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Handle cash and operate a POS system.
- Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of marijuana products and their effects.
- Communicate effectively with coworkers, management, and customers.
- Utilize strong phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries and responding to customer service requests.
- Perform basic math calculations for cash handling and inventory management.
- Meet sales targets and contribute to the growth and success of the business.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of marijuana products and their effects is essential.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are an asset.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
